"g's" Canoe-Camping Gear List for the Practical-Impaired
(revised 3-02)

Iron Man Wolfer and "g" demonstrate the victorious bent paddle pose at the conclusion of the Canoe Invitational 2001

G-WeBconnect's Research and Field Testing Department (R&FTD) agreed to revise the Canoe-Camping Gear List for the Practical-Impaired to meet the rigors of this year's 8th Annual Canoe Invitational. Some of this year's paddlin' participants are concerned about the insidious inclusion of gear that has not been previously authorized by the Canoe Invitational's Gear Authorization and Inspection Department. For example, it is expected that comfy-cots will be secretly wrapped in blue tarps and referred to as food-caches or coolers of beer. Others will be down right bold and flaunt replicas of "g's" bent, turbo-paddle.

This year's revised gear list will now reflect some of these ever-wandering-ideas of the Boys. It will also prepare participants of the 8th Annual Canoe Invitational for the specific seasonal (last weekend in April/Upstate New York) and route needs for this year's trip. Clothing wise, for example, expect anything from warm days to snow flurries.

What's the best thing about this gear list? It's absolutely user-friendly. If you don't like something... give it the 'ol big-X. Want to spice it up? If you can stow it in your canoe... be our guest! So here goes... we'll start with shared gear for openers...
