2006 Training/Race Schedule

 

Two years post cardiac stent, I've learned a few things about running, training and my body. This year I've got (just) a few new goals for myself. Hopefully, my training program jives with them!

Running/Training goals for 2006:

1) Change running form to ChiRunning model
2) Run a 30+ mi ultra (Damn, Wakely Dam Ultra - 32.6 mi)
3) Run spring marathon as a training run for Wakely Ultra
4) Win lottery to run NYC Marathon (or other fall marathon)
5) Run Trails in addition to roads
6) Train with more 20+ mile long runs
7) With more 20+ long runs, incorporate 3 days rest per many weeks
8) Improve nutrition for endurance running
