With nearly 30 hours of snowfall, the Hat phoned "g",
"Hey... let's get those snowshoes on! I'll pick you up around 11:00
AM on Sunday!"
That's all he had to say. The 6-Degree Snowshoe
Club was out for another ascent. But, where would they go?
They only had about 4-hours of daylight once they hit the trail head.
The answer? Prospect Mt in Lake George.
Prospect Mt had been on "g's"
mind ever since DH mentioned that he and his son had climbed to
the summit about six times this past fall... in the dark with headlamps!
It must be about 2300 ft. Not a tall one. But a trip great for kids and
beginner snowshoers. The Hat and "g"
made the ascent in about 1-hr/50-min and the decent in 50-min.
