Community Gear/Food List for Teton 2002 Trip

After careful analysis, the G-WeB Planning Community has grouped shared community gear and food (4 dinners) into 8 categories... one for each hiker. Here's the deal. Each person will bring their assigned community gear and food. Once in Jackson Hole, "g" will receive all gear/food and put them in their rightful groupings. They will all weigh about the same.

As community dinners are eaten, there will be a 5-pound drop in community food. Therefore, as one's pack gets lighter, you'll have to juggle the community gear more equitably.

Once in WY, we will need to purchase white gas. Do not pack any fuel for the trip to WY.

During the weekend before the trip, "g" will make some "community food" deliveries to some of the local Boys. It's a bit too much for "g" to pack and ship himself. If you transport community food... take VERY GOOD CARE OF IT!

All of the groupings of food and gear are between 4 and 5 pounds.
