"A" and her dad get set for their long awaited trip up Crane Mt. In previous years, they had planned to camp at the summit, but were always rained out due to the prospects of torrential summer rains.

Friday Afternoon:
AXE, Gotta..., and "g" hiked Seymour Mt

The Hat, needing to work, met the Boys for dinner Friday night, and piloted them through a tricky day of summiting 3 more peaks on Saturday.

No one really knows what happened,
but the Boys seemed to have entered an Adirondack Mt Vortex. They had come to
a junction where they could not
find the correct path to their camp site. They
spent 1.5 hours hiking and back-tracking
before some youngin's set them straight. Another party, two women hikers, decided to not trust
their inexperience and head back to their car.

Saturday: The big divide
The Boys planned to summit Seward, Donaldson and Emmons... but what about their return trip?
AXE and Gotta agreed to retrace their
course and re-summitted Donaldson and
Seward on their way back to the car;
The Hat and "g" took the "short cut". Who
could have predicted... things would never
be the same between the Boys.
